Instructor

Owain John is 19 and originally from Teignmouth in South Devon. He has been surfing for 7 years and for the last 4 has been concentrating on Longboarding. O.J. is now surfing at a competitive level and enters contests throughout Britain and abroad.

O.J. has travelled to France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, South Africa, Canary Islands, Australia and New Zealand. He surfs a 9’0" performance longboard and a 9’6" log. O.J. will be starting at Swansea University in September to study geography and the beaches of South Wales.

He is a qualified RLSS beach lifeguard and BSA Level 2 Coach. He teaches at our centres in Devon during the summer. .
