Surfing Holidays
Our first group holiday was to Lanzarote in 1997. This was borne out of a desire to give our clients the opportunity to surf abroad and experience some warmer water in the depths of winter. Since then, Surf South West has expanded, offering both group and customised holidays to more destinations. Our recipe for a memorable holiday has however always remained the same...great surf, warm waves, good times.
Group Holidays
Our group holidays provide an opportunity to surf on a warm beach under the watchful eye of British Surfing Association coaches. The average group size is fifteen, 60% of our guests come on their own and we generally have an even mix of men and women. All ability levels are welcome, although the majority of surfers on our trips are beginners and intermediates. Our destinations are carefully chosen to ensure that the waves are consistent but not too powerful. We arrange accommodation very close to the beach - in fact some spots are virtually on the beach - and we'd like to think we've maintained the feel of our holidays as a relaxed surf trip with a group of friends. There are also opportunities on all our holidays to explore the country and see some of the highlights of each destination. And of course apres surf is important, so most nights we book a table in a local restaurant or bar for everyone to meet up and recount the day's waves and wipeouts!Customised Surf Holidays
While our group holidays are arranged at certain times of the year, sometimes our dates are not convenient or you may prefer not to travel in a group. If this is the case, we can organise an independent holiday to any of our destinations. Ideal for a family holiday with a difference! Just give us your requirements and let us do the rest, we can book accommodation, car hire, surf coaching if required, and liase with our travel agents to find the best deal on flights.
Financial Protection
For your financial protection, Surf South West complies with the European Package Travel Directive by holding all monies in an independently administered trust account until the completion of your holiday.
