Assistant Coach

Zak Started Surfing at the age of 10 when his family moved to Croyde in 2003. He now surfs at a competitive standard throughout the UK comptetition scene and is ranked 5th in Britain for his age group!

Zak was coached by one of Surf South West's senior instructors throughout 2005 and has joined us on one of our Lanzarote trips, as part of his training programme. He has also travelled to France and Spain.

He worked at the school for his work experience in 2006 and joined the team as an assistant coach in 2007. Zak surfs a range of 5"10' short baords and a 6"1' short board for those big days!
